Welcome to Gems Cave (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website gemscave.com (the “Site”) and any purchases made through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility & Account Responsibility

  1. You must be able to form a legally binding contract under applicable laws to use this Site.
  2. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
  3. Please ensure your contact details and delivery address are accurate.

2) Products & Availability

  1. We sell hardware tools, equipment, accessories, and related supplies.
  2. Product images are for illustration. Color, packaging, or minor design differences may occur depending on manufacturer updates.
  3. Stock availability may change without notice. If an item becomes unavailable after ordering, we will contact you with options (replacement, partial fulfillment, or refund).

3) Pricing & Payment

  1. Prices are displayed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise.
  2. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders already paid for.
  3. Any applicable taxes, delivery fees, or service charges will be shown at checkout (where applicable).
  4. We accept payments via: [Cash on Delivery / Bank Transfer / Card / Online Gateway].
  5. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment (or confirmation for COD / bank transfer, as applicable).

4) Order Acceptance & Cancellation

  1. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including, but not limited to:

  3. Pricing/stock errors
  4. Delivery limitations or address issues
  5. Customer cancellation: You may request cancellation before the order is dispatched. Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
  6. Store cancellation: If we cancel your order after payment, we will refund according to our Refund Policy.

5) Delivery & Shipping

  1. We deliver to [All Island / Selected Areas in Sri Lanka].
  2. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather, holidays, or other factors beyond our control.
  3. You must provide a complete, correct delivery address and a reachable phone number.
  4. If delivery fails due to incorrect details or unavailability of the recipient, additional delivery charges may apply.

Delivery Inspection:

Please inspect your package upon delivery. If the package appears damaged or tampered, inform the courier and contact us immediately.

6) Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied. Returns and refunds are handled according to our Return & Refund Policy (recommended to create a separate page).

General guidelines:

  1. Returns may be accepted only for items that are unused, in original packaging, and returned within 2 days.
  2. Certain items may not be eligible for return (e.g., electrical parts, consumables, opened seal items, customized orders), unless defective.
  3. If a product is defective or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details.

Refunds (if approved) will be processed via the original method or an agreed method within 7 business days.

7) Warranty (If Applicable)

  1. Some products may include a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms differ by brand and product.
  2. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, negligence, water damage (if not rated), power surges, or unauthorized repairs.
  3. To claim warranty, you must provide proof of purchase (invoice/order number).

8) Tool Use & Safety Disclaimer

Hardware tools and equipment can be hazardous if used incorrectly.

  1. Always follow manufacturer instructions, safety guidelines, and use proper protective gear.
  2. We are not responsible for injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use, installation, storage, or handling of products purchased from us.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  1. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data).
  2. Our total liability for any claim related to a product or order shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item(s) in question.

10) Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—logos, text, images, graphics, and design—is owned by Gems cave or used with permission.

  1. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

11) User Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Site for unlawful purposes
  2. Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with website security or operations
